A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
ESTABLISHING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR UNREPRESENTED
Fes' CLASSIFICATIONS AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NO. 74R-520,
NO. 74R-624, NO. 75R-57, NO. 75R-87, NO. 75R-529 AND
NO. 76R-211, AND SUPERSEDING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTIONS
NO. 74R-607, NO. 76R-105 AND 76R-240 AS THEY RELATE
TO UNREPRESENTED CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, rates of compensation for job classes represented by
the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association were adjusted effective October,17, 1975,
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to adjust rates
of compensation for related unrepresented job classes, by repealing
Resolutions NO. 74R-520, NO. 74R-624, NO. 75R-57, NO. 75R-87, NO.
75R-529, and NO 76R-211 and by superseding portions of Resolutions NO.
76R-105, NO. 76R-240 and NO. 74R-607 as they relate to unrepresented
classes specified, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
that establishing rates of compensation for these job classes is in the
best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees
of the City of Anaheim who are now employed, or will in the future be
employed in any of the classifications listed below, shall be allocated
to salary schedules as follows:

SECTION 2.
The letter "U" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees
assigned (upgraded) to that job class shall be paid premium pay as provided
in Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay. The letter "X" preceding a schedule
number indicates that employees working in that job class are exempt from
overtime provisions as provided in Personnel Rule 6.04, Premium Pay. The
letter "S" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees working in
that job class shall be eligible for consideration for merit pay increases
as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appropriate Salary Step.
SECTION 3.
The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensation for
employees working in job classes listed in Section l of this resolution
shall be computed as provided in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and
Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Premium Pay.

The provisions of this resolution shall repeal Resolutions
No. 74R-520, No. 74R-624, No. 75R-57, No. 75R-87, No. 75R-529 and
No. 76R-211 and except to the extent herein superseded, Resolutions
Na 74R-607, No. 76R-105 and No. 76R-240 shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 5.
`The effective date of this resolution shall be the 17th day
of October, 1975.
