A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS A1qD CONDITIONS
OF AIN ENC'ROACH=T PERMIT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID ENCROACH -
PENT PERMIT WITH CARL KARCHER ENTERPRISES, INC.

WHEREAS, Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., a corporation,
hereinafter referred to as Licensee, is the owner of property in
the City of Anaheim over which the -City owns a dedicated right of
way; and
WHEREAS, Licensee wishes to encroach upon a portion of
said dedicated right of way for the installation of a directional
sign along the east side of Kraemer Boulevard, south of La Palma
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, unless Licensee is allowed to encroach upon
the right of way of the City, an extreme and undue hardship will
be caused to it; and
WHEREAS, the proposed encroachment for such installa-
tion across a portion of the easement of City will not interfere
with the present use of the easement by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions'of a license
agreement between the City of Anaheim and Carl Karcher Enterprises,
Inc., be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said license agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of May, 1976.
