A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONCESSION
AGREEMENT WITH SZABO FOOD SERVICE, INC. OF
CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANAHEIM STADIUM RELATING
TO STATE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL
REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS., the City of Anaheim and Szabo Food
Service, Inc. of California, entered into.an Agreement
dated March 16, 1976, to provide for concession operations
at the Anaheim Stadium to make food, beverages ages and other
articles available to th6 patrons
s of Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS., the State of California Department of
Alcoholic Beverage Control has requested an additional
statement in said Agreement concerning compliance with'State
Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations so as not to restrict
Szabo Food Service, Inc. as to the selection of brands of
alcoholic beverages to be sold pursuant to said Agreement;
and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties to
amend said Agreement by providing for an Amendment to said
Agreement to assure s.tr-ict.compliance witb.State of California
Alcoholic Beverage'Control regulations; and
WHEREAS,,the.-City Council finds that it would be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim to approve said
Amendment to Agreement this day submitted to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the -Amendment to Agreement this
day submitted to the' -City, -Council to be made and entered into
between the City: of Anaheim and Szabo Food Service, Inc. of
California, providing for an.":additional statement concerning
compliance with State Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations
so as not to restrict Szabo Food service, Inc. as to the
selection of brands of alcoholic beverages to be sold at the
Anaheim Stadium, be., and the same is berebyapproved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be'.,' and they are hereby authorized to execute said
Amendment to Agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
