A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ANENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 87R-287 b~ICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR
CLASSES ASSIGNED TO THE GENERAL UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL E~PLOYEES ASSOCIATION
NHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated August 7, 1990, that the classtifticatic~ of Traffic Cc~tro]ler be
created effecttive August 3, 1990; and
WHERE4.S, as a result thereof, the need extists to amend Resoluttio~ No.
87R-287 whtich estabttished mates of compensattion for classes asstigned to the
General Unit represented by the Anahetim Nuntictipal Employee~ Assoctiattion: and
NHEREAS, the City Counctil of the Ctity of Anahetim does f~nd that the
creattion of the classification of Traffti¢ Controller tis tin the best interest of
the Ctity of Anahetim.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ctity Council of the C~ty of
~ahetim as follows:
That, effecttire August 3, 19§0 through October 11, 1990, the bestic
compensation plan for all offticers and employees of the Ctity of Anahetim who are
now employed or wtill ~n the future be empl~ed tin the classJfticattio~s ltisted
below shall be allocated to the following salary sch~ule Jn the ~lary
~}~=dule ~4aste~:
SALARY STEP SALARY
Traffic Controller 1029 J-E .850% x Traffic Control Supervtisor
8E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that alD prov~stions tif the Memorandum of
Understandting, dated December 9, 1987, between the Ctity of Anahetim and the
General Untit of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association apply to the
foregoting classtif Jcattion.
AND, BE IT FUR/HER RESOLVED that except as amended heretim, Resolution
No. 87R-287 shall remstin tin full force and effect.
