OLSON LABORATORIES, INC. FOR THE STUDY OF
COMM1j-7'ITY NOISE LEVELS RESULTING FROM THE
OPERATION OF THE OPEIPaNGE (5 t) FPIEEWAY.
T-WHEIZEAS, it is the intention and desire of the City
of Anaheim to determine the ariount and effect of increased
coiar-unity noise levels resulting frog: operation of the Orange
(57) Freeway to support legal action that may be taken to
remedy excessive noise levels; and
WHEREAS, the services rendered are of a type and
complexity requiring services of a professional and technical
character and are of a temporary nature; an,
WHEREAS, Olson Laboratories, Inc. has knowledge and
exerience in conducting such noise level studies; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESSOLIVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that -the terms and conditions of an agree-
ment employing Olson Laboratories, Inc. to perform professional
services in connection with the study of coiranjanity noise levels
be, and the saime are hereby, approved—
BE IT FURT117-1E RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
