A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM EXPRESSING ITS DESIRE TO PARTICIPATE
IN AN INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
IN THE FIELD OF GOVERNMENT PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVE-
MENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE
CITY OF SANTA CLARA TO FILE AN APPLICATION ON
ITS BEHALF FOR A BLOCK GRANT PURSUANT TO TITLE
V OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT OF
1970.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim participates in the
California Innovation Group; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
acknowledges the need for improved government productivity;
and
WHEREAS, the California Innovation Group has
prepared.A Proposal for Improved Work Scheduling for Urban
Service Delivery System Personnel.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to participate in said Proposal for Improved Work
Scheduling for Urban Service Delivery System Personnel:; and
WHEREAS, an Application for a Block Grant under
Title V of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970,
has been.prepared; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authorize the City Manager of the City of Santa
Clara to execute and file the said Application for a Block
Grant' -pursuant to the Housing and Urban Development Act of
1970, on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby express its
intention and willingness to participate in the Proposal
for Improved Work Scheduling for Urban Service Delivery
System: Personnel.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Manager of the City of
Santa Clara be, and he hereby is authorized to execute and
file an Application for a Block Grant pursuant to Title V
of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970, on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
