OF AISITAII-11EIM APPROVING THE TUINiERMS MID CONMITIONS

PARTICIPATE IN A REVENUE SErkR!11--1G PROJECT BY

WHEREAS, the County of Orange has agreed It. -O share some
of its general revenue sharing -funds with cities, service areas
and park and recreation districts; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested that one of
these revenue sharing projects be the development of 8.70 acres
of the 9.50 acre Juarez Park site for recreational use; and
WHEREAS, Juarez Park is a recreational facilitv serving
the Cities of Placentia, Orange, Garden Grove and Anaheim and has
a use radius of 2 1/2 miles; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has a local parks ordinance
in effect similar to the Quircaby Act whereby developers donate fees
or land in ratio to the standard of 2 1/2 acres of park per 1,000
population; and
-WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has adopted an element of
its General Plan shox,,Ting parks and recreation lands and -facilities,
existing and proposed; and
WHERE
En AS I an agreement has this day been submitted, the
terms and conditions whereof are satisfactory to the City
of
Anaheim; and
. WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said agreement.

the City of Anaheim that the certain agreement this- day submitted
for revenue sharing with the County of orange in the developing of
Juarez Park site be, and the same is hereby, approved -

and they are hereby, authorized. to execute said agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
