RESOLUTION NO. 7 3R- 60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
FROM THE ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH OF ANAHEIM
AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR
(Philadelphia Street and Chartres Avenue)
~VHEREAS, on the 23rd day of January, 1973, the City
Council by motion authorized the opening of an escrow to purchase
certain church property in the City of Anaheim from the Zion
Evangelical Church of Anaheim for the total consideration of
$185,000; and
WHEREAS, said church property is described as follows:
~ll that real property in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL l: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1 in
Block F of the Resubdivision of Block F, Vineyard Lot D3,
as shown on a map of survey filed in Book 1, page 24,
Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County; thence running Westerly along the
southerly line of Chartres Street 96 feet to the northwest
corner of Lot 2 in said Block F; thence Southerly along
the westerly line of said Lot 2, 80 feet to a point thence
Easterly parallel to the southerly line of Chartres Street
96 feet to a point on the east line of Lot 1 of said Block
F, and on the westerly line of Hedwig Street, now known as
Philadelphia Street, thence Northerly along said easterly
line of said Lot 1 in Block F, 80 feet to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL 2: Lots 3, 4 and 5 in Block F of the Resubdivision
of Block F, Vineyard Lot D3, as sho~m on a map of survey
filed in Book 1, page 24, Record of Surveys, in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to accept a grant deed to said
property as tendered by said Zion Lutheran Church and to
pay the consideration therefor.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept and it does hereby accept
and order the recordation of that certain deed from the Zion
Evangelical Church of Anaheim as described herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to disburse the sum
of $185,000 in the following manner:

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing be charged
to Account No. SOO-62l-93S-0l, and that the wattants as drawn
