A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENTS NO. 308-1 and 308-2,
EXHIBIT "A." (AMENDED)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of June, 1990, the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to
consider General Plan Amendments. The General Plan Amendments
consider changing the land use designation for the area of land
described as follows:
AREA 1 APPROXIMATELY 7 ACRES CONSISTING OF THOSE PARCELS
LOCATED ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF LOARA STREET BEGINNING
AT THE SOUTHERN CITY LIMITS AND EXTENDING NORTH APPROXIMATELY
660 FEET; ALSO INCLUDING TItOSE PARCELS LOCATED ON THE NORTH
AND SOUTH SIDES OF WILMOT LANE. EXCEPTING THE PARCEL LOCATED
ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF WILMOT LANE AND LOARA STREET.
AREA 2 APPROXIMATELY 4.6 ACRES CONSISTING OF THAT PARCEL
LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF EUCLID STREET, HAVING A FRONTAGE
OF APPROXIMATELY 330 FEET, HAVING A MAXIMUM DEPTH OF
APPROXIMATELY 608 FEET AND BEING LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 190
FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF CINDY LANE; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-143 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendments to the General
Plan designated as Amendments No. 308-1 and 308-2 be adopted by
the City Council changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area to "Low-Medium Density Residential" in
accordance with Exhibit "A (Amended)"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 17th day of
July, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic
Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendments No. 508-1 and 508-2 and did give notice thereof in the
manner and as provided by law; and
_ ., WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
~ public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
GPA NOS. 508-1 and 508-2
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendments No. 308-1 and 308-2 changing the land use designation
in the aforedescribed areas in accordance with Exhibit "A
(Amended)" on file with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendments No. 308-1 and 308-2 to the
General Plan changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed areas to "Low-Medium Density Residential" in
accordance with Exhibit "A (Amended)" on file with the City be,
and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendments No. 308-1 and 308-2 as herein
adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 17th day of July, 1990.
