RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A PORTION OF CLAUDINA STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to vacate
and abandon Claudina Street between Lincoln Avenue and Broad-
way; and
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of October, 1976, a public
hearin; was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, teat that portion. of Claudina
Street hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Cit; Council does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation and
exception of the easements and rights of way also hereinafter
specifically described.
NOINT, THEREFORE, B, IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of that portion of Claudina Street, located generally
between Lincoln Avenue and Broadway, described as follows:
That certain portion of dedicated roadway, commonly
known as Claudina Street, located in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
abandoned, described as follows:
Beginning in the southwest corner of Lot 31 in Block B
of the Center Tract, as shown on a mai recorded in
Book 14, page 13, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County; thence S 740 27' 41' W, 60 feet to an intersec-
tion Taith a line parallel with. and 30 feet westerly of
the aenterline of Claudina Street; thence N 15° 30' 00"
W, 380 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 10 feet southerly of the center-
line of that certain public alley 20 feet wide lying
between Lot 1 and Lot 14 in Block A of said Center Tract;
thence N 74° 27' 41' E, 60 feet along said parallel line
to an intersection with a line parallel with and 30 feet
easterly of the centerline of said Claudina Street;
thence S 150 30' 00` E, 380 feet, more or less, along
said parallel line to the point of beginning. (Said
portion is further shown on 3xhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated by reference herein.)
Reserving therefrom a public utility easement unto the
City of Anaheim over, under and across the westerly 10
feet of the easterly 20 feet of said Claudina Street.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk
be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her
under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of October, 1976.
