RESOLUTION NO. 76R-636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF TIME CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time
and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the
manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to
consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes
in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 12th day of OntehPr 197, and continued to
the day of 1 as the time and the
Council Chamber in the City Hall o the Ct—of Anaheim as the
place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the resommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones,
as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones
in which it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone
should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows, to wit:

The East 253.00 feet of that portion of the North
15 acres of the East half_ of the Southeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 4
South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California as per map recorded in Book 51, page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County described ;as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said Section,
North 0° 13' 47" West 328.29 feet from the Southeast
corner of said Section, said point being the Northeast
corner of the South 5 acres of said East half as shown
on a map filed in Book 37, Page 24 of Record of Surveys,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County;
thence South 890 40' 43" West 512.54 feet along the
North line of said South 5 acres to the beginning of a
non -tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a ra-
dius of 969.50 feet a radial line from said point bearing
South 570 52' 33" East; thence Northeasterly 304.69 feet
along said curve to a line tangent; thence North 500 07'
50" East 336.40 feet along said tangent line to a line
parallel with and 53.00 feet westerly from the East line
of said Section; thence North 00 13' 47" West 39.61 feet
along said parallel line; thence North 500 07' 50" East
63.82 feet to the East line of said Section; thence
South 01 13' 47" East 525.06 feet to, the point of
beginning.
EXCEPT the South 200.00 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT that portion thereof within Magnol1a..-Avenue.
remain in the "RS -A-43,000" RESIDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAL ZONE,
and the reclassification to "RAZ -1200" RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE -
FAMILY ZONE be denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 12th day of October, 1976.
