RESOLUTION NO. 73R-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM 01U>ERING THE VAC"-TION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY
HEREIN DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 9th day of January, 1973, dec1are by Resolution No.
73R-lO its intention to vacate and abandon a public utility
easement located at the east side of State College Boulevard,
north of Wagner Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, and did set the
30th day of January, 1973, for a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of January, 1973, at 1;30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence
submitted at said public hearing that that easement located at
the east side of State College Boulevard, north of Wagner
Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, is unnecessary for present or
prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
l. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publications
made as required by law.
2. That that easement located at the east side of State
College Boulevard, north of Wagner Avenue, in the City
of Anaheim, toward which a request for vacation and
abandonment was directed, is not necessary for present
or prospective public utility purposes and does hereby
order that said easement, as herein set forth, be and
it is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public
use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is more partioularly
described as follows, to wit:

That certain public utility easement located within
the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range lO West, S.B.B. & M., in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, conveyed to
Southern California Edison Company, a corporation, by
deed recorded in Book l730, page 62, Official Records
of said Orange County, and assigned to the City of
Anaheim in Instrument recorded in Book 6395, page 293,
Official Records of said Orange County, described as
an easement for pole lines and incidental purposes.
All poles to be erected within 1 foot of the following
described line:

Beginning at a point in the westerly line of said
property distant 260 feet southerly thereon from the
northerly line of said parcel; thence Northeasterly in
a straight line a distance of 250 feet to the point of
terminus of the line herein described.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and
she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
