A RESOLUTION OF THj::: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF k~AHEIr1 PERMITTIi:JG THE ANkT{EIrl UNION HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO UTILIZEiTHE ANNiEIM MUNI-
CIPAL &~D THE ANAHEL~ HILLS GOLF COURSE.
vlliEREAS, the Anaheim Union! High School District has
in previous years requested and received permission for the
AnaheuJ High School District to utilize the Anaheim Municipal
Golf Course for its high school golf team play, and
MIEHEAS, the Anaheim Union High School District desires
to use the Anaheim Hills Golf Course for its high school golf
team play;' and
WIIEflliAS, permi~c.ting the Anaheim Union High School
District to utilize both golf courseS permits a flexibility of
scheduling that is desirable for the City of Anaheim and the
Anaheua Union High School District; and
WHEI~AS, the City Council does find that it is in the
best interests of the City of .hnaheim that the Anaheim Union High
School Golf Team should be permitted to play both the AnaheuG
Municipal and the Anaheim Hills Golf Courses on certain d~ys and
a t certain tiInes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Anaheim Union High School.lSistrict be,
and it is hereby, permitted to have student team playa maximum
of eight foursomes from Anaheim, Western, Magnolia, Loara,
Savannah, Kennedy and Katella High Schools for a fee of $1,000.00
for the seven high schools at eight starting times comrnencing
at 2:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, commencing February 1 and
ending May 31 of the year 1973.
BE I'l' FUR'I'HER RESOLVED that at the end of this school
year this Resolution shall automatically terminate without further
action by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of January, 1973.
