A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 0F' THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 76R-238
AWARDING A PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT WORK ORDER
NO. 812, AND REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR SAID
PUBLIC WORKS IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to Resolution No.
76R-124 on I4arch 16, 1976, did find and determine the public con-
venience and necessity for a Public Works Project Work Order No.
812 at Twila Reid Park; and
WHEREAS, Legal Notices were published calling for sealed
bids at 2:00 P.M. on the 8th day of April, 1976, for said Public
Works Project Work Order No. 812; and
WHEREAS, on or before 2:00 P.rl. on the 8th day of April,
1976, Western Wood Tovs/Don Renner Company did submit a bid on
said Public Works Project Wore Order No. 812; and
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1976, the City Council
did award said Public Works contract, Pork Order No. 812, to Western
Wood Toys/Don Renner Company pursuant to Resolution No. 76R-238; and
WHEREAS, Western Wood Toys/Don Renner Company has failed
to comply with the terms of the award embodied in City Council of
Anaheim Resolution ado. 76R-238 in that it has failed to execute a
contract and failed to post the bonds in the amounts required by
law and as specified in the notice inviting sealed Proposals as re-
quired by Civil Code Section 3247; and
WHEREAS, there being no other qualified binders an said
Public Works Project Work Order No. 812, the City Council does find
that all bids should be rejected. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT f, SOLVED by Ehe City Council of the
City of Anaheim that it does rescind Resolution No. 76R -23C avaarding
Public ~Works Project Work Order No. 812 to Western tF4Qod TUys/:son
Renner Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim does reject all bids in connection with Work Order No.
312.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of October r 1976.
