A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENTS NO. 310-1 AND 310-2,
EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of June, 1990, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider General Plan Amendments. The General Plan
Amendments consider changing the land use designation for the
following described areas of land:
AREA 1: APPROXIMATELY 0.75 ACRE BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY
305 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF BALL ROAD EXTENDING
NORTH APPROXIMATELY 570 FEET AND BEING LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 190 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF
BROOKHURST STREET.
AREA 2: APPROXIMATELY 4.0 ACRES LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF BALL ROAD AND EMPIRE STREET HAVING
APPROXIMATE FRONTAGES OF 415 FEET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
BALL ROAD AND 295 FEET ON THE EAST SIDE OF EMPIRE STREET
AND FURTHER DESCRIBED AS 2045 WEST BALL ROAD; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-149 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendments to the General
Plan designated as Amendments No. 310-1 and 310-2 be adopted by
the City Council changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area to "GENERAL COMMERCIAL" for Area 1 and
"LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 2 in accordance with
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 10th day of
July, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic
Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendments No. 310-1 and 310.2 and did give notice thereof in the
manner and as provided by law; and

WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendments No. 310-1 and 310-2 changing the land use designation
in the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file
with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendments No. 310-1 and 310-2 to the
General Plan changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area to "GENERAL COMMERCIAL" for Area 1 and
"LOW-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 2 in accordance with
Exhibit "A" on file with the City be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendments No. 310-1 and 310-2 as herein
adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of July, 1990.
