A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENTS NO. 306-1 AND 306-2,
EXHIBIT "A (AMENDED)"
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of May, 1990, the City Planning
Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to
consider General Plan Amendments. The General Plan Amendments
consider changing the land use designation for the following
described areas of land :
AREA 1: APPROXIMATBLY 9.6 ACRBS CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING
- THOSE PARCELS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF VALLEY STREET,
BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY 160 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE
OF CRONB AVENUE AND EXTENDING SOUTH TO MINERVA AVENUE.
- THOSE PARCELS LOCATED ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF
MINERVA AVENUE, BEGINNING AT THE ALLEY AT THE WBSTERN
TERMINUS OF SAID STREET AND EXTENDING EAST APPROXIMATELY
1,250 FEET.
- THOSE PARCELS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF AGATE STREET,
BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE
OF BEACON AVENUE AND EXTENDING SOUTH TO BALL ROAD.
AREA 2: APPROXIMATELY 16 ACRES CONSISTING OF THE FOLLOWING
THOSE PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF JUNO
AVENUE AND JUNO PLACE, BEGINNING AT THE ALLEY AT THB
WESTERN TERMINUS OF JUNO AVENUE AND EXTENDING EAST TO
THE EASTERLY TERMINUS OF JUNO PLACE.
THAT AREA LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BALL ROAD, HAVING
A FRONTAGE OF APPROXIMATELY 469 FEET ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF BALL ROAD AND EXTENDING NORTH APPROXIMATELY 1,270
FEET AND BEING LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 195 FEET EAST OF
THE CENTERLINE OF BROOKHURST STREET.

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC90-123 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendments to the General
Plan designated as Amendments No. 306-1 and 306-2 be adopted by
the City Council changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed areas to "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 1 and
"LOW MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 2 in accordance with
Exhibit "A (AMENDED)"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 10th day of
July, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic
Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendments No. 306-1 and 306-2 and did give notice thereof in the
manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendments No. 306-1 and 306-2 changing the land use designation
in the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit
"A (AMENDED)" on file with the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendments No. 306-1 and 306-2 to the
General Plan changing the land use designation for the
aforedescribed area to "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 1 and
"LOW MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" for Area 2 in accordance with
Exhibit "A (AMENDED)" on file with the City be, and the same is
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendments No. 306-1 and 306-2 as herein
adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of July, 1990.
