A RE -SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF A14AHEII-I APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEIVIENT
WITH THE STANTON COMITY WATER DISTRICT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION AAD PAY k, NIP OF A Sh.NER CONNECTION
AND AUTHORIZING THE 1MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAME. (Twila Reid Park)
WHEREAS, the City of AnaheLm is desirous of constructing
certain facilities at Twila Reid Park; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid facilities are in need of a sewer
and sewer connection; and
WHEREAS, Stanton County Water District has a sewer systerct
location in the area of Twila Reid Park; and
WHEREAS, the Stanton County Water District is agreeable
to permit a sewer and sewer connection to be connected to the
Stanton County Water District sewer system; anu
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement has been prepared be-
tween the Stanton County Water District and the City of Anaheii,.4
Providing for the construction and payri-tent of a sewer and sewer
connection from Twila Reid Park to the Stanton County Water Dis-
trict's sewer systera, the terms and conditions whereof are satis-
factory to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that tdie Joint Powers Agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and Stanton County Water District
tris day submitted be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor ead the City -Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
