RESOLUTION NO. 76R-586
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE DETACHMENT OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLACENTIA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 35300 et seq. of
the Government Code, the City of Anaheim may consent to
the detachment of certain territory for annexation to
another city; and
WHEREAS, consent to the detachment of all the
property owners of the affected territory hereinafter
described has been received; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim to consent to the detachment of said territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby consent to the
detachment from the City of Anaheim of the following
described territory, to wit:
That certain parcel of land located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established
by the Northeast Annexation No. 3 to said City,
said angle point being the point of intersection
of the westerly right of way line of Fee Ana Street,
60 feet wide, with the westerly prolongation of the
north line of Lot 9, Block 36 of the Yorba Linda
Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, pages
17 and 18, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, said point also being a point in the
existing City limit line of the City of Placentia;
thence N 891 421 1811 E, 1,523.65 feet along the
common City limit boundary lines also being said
westerly prolongation and northerly line of Lot 9
in Block 36 of said Yorba Linda Tract to an inter-
section with the westerly right of way line of
Taylor Street, 40 feet wide; thence leaving the
existing boundary of said City of Placentia and
continuing a portion of said City of Anaheim
Annexation boundary S 00 431 2511 E, 132.03 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and
32 feet southerly of the centerline of Miraloma
Avenue, as established in the precise alignment
adopted by the Placentia City Council July 6,
1976, Resolutuon No. 76R-156; thence leaving the
existing City of Anaheim Annexation boundary and
following the last mentioned parallel line S 891
421 13" W, 1,524.59 feet to an intersection with
a line parallel with and 30 feet westerly of the
centerline of Fee Ana Street, said point of inter-
section being in the existing Anaheim City Annexa-
tion boundary as established by the aforementioned

annexation; thence N 0° 181 57" W, 132.05 feet
along a portion of said annexation boundary, also
being said parallel line to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby authorized and directed to transmit
certified copies of this resolution to the City Council
of the City of Placentia and the Local Agency Formation
Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
