1976-575RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 575 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DE- SCRIBED HEREIN. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, on the 31st day of August, 1976, by Resolution No. 76R-531, in connection with a request to vacate and abandon an existing public utility easement lying within the property located at the southeast corner of La Palma Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described, set the 21st day of September, 1976, at 2:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, for a public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, on said 21st day of September, 1976, at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence submitted at said public hearing that said existing public util- ity easement lying within the property located at the southeast corner of La Palma Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard, in the City of Anaheim, as it may relate to the property described herein, is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim: 1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly held and that all notices were given and publica- tions made as required by law. 2. That that portion of the real property toward which a request for vacation and abandonment was directed is not necessary for present or prospective public util- ity purposes and does hereby order that said portion, as herein set forth, be and it is hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public use. 3. That said portion of real property herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is de- scribed as follows, to wit: That certain public utility easement located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in deed recorded May 24, 1976 in Book 11747, page 767, Official Records, to be abandoned, described as follows: A public utility easement for the installation and maintenance of underground electrical conduit, con- ductors, structures, pad mount transformer and re- lated electrical facilities, as shown on a map at- tached hereto and made a part hereof, under and across a strip of land 5 feet wide, unless otherwise indicated - 1 - 76-3A • • on said map, lying within that portion of Lot 20, Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a map re- corded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, described in Exhibit "A" of deed to Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., a California corporation, recorded March 29, 1976 in Book 11687, page 134, Official Records. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
