RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 570
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE NORTH ORANGE COUNTY
COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT RELATING TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A HOUSING REPAIR TRAINING
AND WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to make
available Housing Repair training and work experience for
its residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has applied to and
has been granted funds by the Orange County Manpower
Commission for the development and conducting of a project
in Housing Repair; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency with special knowledge and experience in
conducting training and work experience programs in the
field of Housing Repair; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District is willing to furnish such specialized personnel
and facilities as is required to conduct a training and work
experience program in Housing Repair; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District has submitted to the City a form of Agreement
providing for the furnishing of specialized personnel and
facilities required to conduct a Housing Repair and training
and work experience program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the North Orange County Community College District, and
that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City. Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the North Orange County Community College
District providing for the furnishing of specialized
personnel and facilities required to conduct said Housing
Repair training and work experience program upon the terms
and conditions and for the compensation set forth in said
Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
