A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THERE
WERE NO BIDS RECEIVED ON THE JUAREZ PARK
PROPERTY LINE WALL IMPROVEMENT, WORK ORDER
No. 868.
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of August, 1976, Resolution
No. 76R-502 was adopted by the City Council finding and
determining that public convenience and necessity required the
improvement and completion of the Juarez Park Property Line
Wall Improvement, Work Order No. 868; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 76R-502 did set the
9th day of September, 1976 at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as
the date and hour for the opening of said bids; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer did report to the City
Council that no bids were received on Work Order No. 868; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has
recommended that the City Council authorize them to negotiate
with local contractors for the construction and completion of
the work and that said work not be readvertised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the construction and completion of
the Juarez Park Property Line Wall Improvement, Work Order
No. 868 not be readvertised and that the City Engineer be
authorized to negotiate with local contractors. -as recommended
by the City Engineering Department.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 14th day of September, 1976.
