A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
(Public Utility Easement 75-16A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation`Law (Section 50430 et sea. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement"),
to wit:
That certain public utility easement lying within
said Tract No. 1691, described as follows:
The Westerly 5 feet of Lot 17 and the Easterly 5
feet of Lot 18 in Tract 1691, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 52, pages 18 and 19, Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of said Orange County.
Except therefrom the northerly 6 feet thereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of August, 1976, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
sheds -hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of. Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 14th day of September, 1976.
