A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
WITH THE STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION AND PAYMENT OF A SEWER CONNEC^lION
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of constructing
certain facilities at Schweitzer Park; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid facilities are in need
of a sewer and sewer connection; and
WHEREAS, Stanton County Water District has a
sewer system located in the area of Schweitzer Park; and
WHEREAS, the Stanton County Water District is
agreeable to permit a sewer and sewer connection to be
connected to the Stanton County Water District sewer
system; and
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement has been
prepared between the Stanton County Water District and the
City of Anaheim providing for the construction and payment
of a sewer and sewer connection from Schweitzer Park to
the Stanton County Water District's sewer system, the terms
and conditions whereof are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Joint
Powers Agreement between the City and Stanton County Water
District this day submitted be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
