1976-531• • RESOLUTION NO. 76R- 531 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5 of the Government Code (Sec. 50430 et seq.) in con- nection with a request to vacate and abandon an existing public utility easement lying within the property located at the south- east corner of La Palma Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard, in the City of Anaheim, and more particularly hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use said existing public utility easement lying within the property located at the south- east corner of La Palma Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard, and more particularly described as follows, to wit: That certain public utility easement located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, de- scribed in deed recorded May 24, 1976 in Book 11747, page 767, Official Records, to be abandoned, described as follows: A public utility easement for the installation and mainte- nance of underground electrical conduit, conductors, struc- tures, pad mount transformer and related electrical facil- ities, as shown on a map attached hereto and made a part hereof, under and across a strip of land 5 feet wide, un- less otherwise indicated on said map, lying within that portion of Lot 20, Block K of the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellane- ous Records of Los Angeles County, described in Exhibit "A` of deed to Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc,, a California - corporation, recorded March 29, 1976 in Book 11687, page 134, Official Records. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of -th.e Public Ser- vice Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5 of the Government Code (Sec. 50430 et seq.). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear- ing all,persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- tion and abandonment has been fixed on the 21st day of September, 1976 at 2:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
