A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT TO SELL CERTAIN CITY -OWNED
PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF A DEED CONVEYING TITLE THERETO.
(Checkmate)
WHEREAS, Checkmate, a partnership, has offered to
purchase certain City -owned property located at the south-
east corner of Tustin Avenue and Jefferson Street; and
WHEREAS, said property is no longer needed for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, an agreement, the terms and conditions
of which are acceptable to the City of Anaheim, has been
prepared whereby the City agrees to sell said property to
Checkmate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby accept the terms
and conditions of that certain agreement with Checkmate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, directed to execute a deed
conveying said property to Checkmate, a partnership.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 10th day of August , 1976.
