RESOLUTION NO. 76R-439
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZI14G THE COMPENSATION
IN THE AGREEMENT DATED JULY 12, 1973, WITH
R. W. BECK & ASSOCIATES TO BE II'JCREASED BY
$50,000 TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $170,000.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and R. W. Beck &
Associates entered into an Agreement dated June 12, 1973,
wherein consulting services were to be provided by R. W. Beck
& Associates to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement contained a provision that
the maximum compensation to be paid R. W. Beck & Associates
could not exceed $50,000 without the written permission of
the City so to do; and
WHEREAS, the City has permitted in writing an
increase in the amount of said compensation to the sum of
$120,000; and
WHEREAS, the Utilities Director has recommended
that the amount of compensation be increased by the sum of
$50;000, from $120,000 to $1701000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby approve the
request of the Utilities Director and grants the increase in
maximum compensation pursuant to the Agreement with R. W.
Beck & Associates dated June 12, 1973, to the sum of -,;17(0,000.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 27th day of July, 1976.
