1977-521RESOLUTION NO. 77R-521 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1710. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from DAVID DOERING, owner; DONALD L. SHAFER, agent, to expand an ex- isting cocktail lounge and dance hall on the following described property: Lots 11 through 16 and 20 through 22 in Block 3 of Summerfield and Oppenheimer's subdivision as per map thereof recorded in Book 19, Page 44 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on June 20, 1977, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investi- gation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC77 -128 denying Conditional Use Per- mit No. 1710; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on February 22, 1977, at the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful con- sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Condi- tional Use Permit No. 1710 should be denied. -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis- sion denying Conditional Use Permit No. 1710 be, and the same is hereby, sustained and that the request of DAVID DOERING, owner; DONALD L. SHAFER, agent, to expand an existing cocktail lounge and dance hall on the hereinabove described property be, and the same is hereby, denied. this 19th day of July, 1977.
