A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 21 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signed by all of the owners of land within the ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Government Code.
That on the 22nd day of June 1977
the Local Agency Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution
No. 77 -101 in which said Commission authorized the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Government Code and further approved such
annexation of said territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council and without the requirement that an election
be held by the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the
ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 21 ANNEXATION more particularly
described as follows, to wit:

Those certain parcels of land located in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel One: Beginning at an angle point in the exist-
ing City limit line of the City of Anaheim as estab-
lished in the Anaheim Hills No. 18 Annexation to said
City, said point of beginning being in the northeasterly
terminus of the course described as N 37 27' 20" E,
691.34 feet in said Anaheim Hills No. 18 Annexation;
thence following along a portion of the annexation
boundary line established in the last mentioned annex-
ation, the following courses and distances: North
590.00 feet, N 89 00' 00" E, 572.00 feet and S 0° 33' 46"
E, 630.00 feet; thence leaving said City limit line S 89
00' 00" W, 609.31 feet to said course described as N 37
27' 20" E, 691.34 feet; thence N 37 27' 20" E, 51.17
feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel Two: Commencing at the southeast corner of Section
11, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. M.; thence
North 2418.73 feet and West 779.94 feet to the south-
westerly terminus of that certain course cited as "N 72°
24' 32" E, 2754.57 feet" in the northwesterly line of the
Southern California Edison Company right of way described
in Parcel 1 of deed recorded December 23, 1968 in Book
8824, page 19, Official Records, said terminus also being
an angle point in the existing City limit line of the City
of Anaheim as established in the Anaheim Hills No. 18
Annexation to said City and also being the true point of
beginning of this description; thence along said annexa-
tion boundary and said right of way line N 72° 24' 32" E,
2587 feet, more or less, to the most easterly corner of
said No. 18 Annexation; said corner being in the City
limit line as established by Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexa-
tion; thence leaving said Annexation No. 18 boundary and
said right of way line and along said Annexation No. 6
boundary, East 297.88 feet and S 79° 05' 00" E, 586.46
feet to the Southeasterly line of said Edison right of way;
thence leaving said City limit line and along said south-
easterly line S 72° 24' 27" W, 3495.78 feet, more or less,
to a line which bears South from the true point of begin-
ning; thence continuing along said southeasterly line S

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and is hereby designated as the ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 21
ANNEXATION to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date of
the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of Cali-
fornia, the annexation of the territory herein described shall
be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such an-
nexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part of
the City of Anaheim, and from and after the effective date of
such annexation, all property therein shall be subject to taxa-
tion equally with the property within the City of Anaheim and
shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share of the existing
indebtedness and liability of said City of Anaheim contracted
prior to or existing at the time of such annexation pursuant to
the written consent of the owners of property in said annexed
territory filed with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to
the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of July, 1977.
