A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEII"I AUTHORIZING TIIE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN OVERHEAD POWER LINE EASEMENT AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR. (Southern Pacific
Transportation Company at Mile Post 513.02)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested that
Southern Pacific Transportation Company grant an easement
to the City for installation of an overhead power line
crossing tracks 275 feet west of Sunkist Avenue at Mile
Post 513.02.
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Transportation
Company has submitted to the City of Anaheim an agreement
granting said easement, the terms of which are satisfactory
to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the compensation sought for said easement
in the amount of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) is
fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the A'Iayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of the City
of Anaheim that certain Easement Agreement submitted by the
Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to draw a warrant in
favor of Southern Pacific Transportation Company in the amount
of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00), and that the same
be forwarded to the Office of the City Attorney for transmit-
tal to the Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 12 day of July 1977.
