A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A PORTION OF WINSTON ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to
vacate and abandon a portion of Winston Road easterly of
Sunkist Street; and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of July, 1977, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit
evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find, from the evidence submitted, that the portion
of Winston Road, hereinafter specifically described, is
unnecessary for present or prospective public street
purposes; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the
vacation and abandonment of that portion of Winston Road
located generally east of Sunkist Street described as
follows:
That portion of an existing dedicated roadway,
commonly known as Winston Road, located in the
City of Anaheim,, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
The South 20 feet of that portion of land
included within the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., as described
in the deed recorded April 11, 1928 in Book 150,
page 192, Official Records.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by
her under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
