RESOLUTION NO. 77R -466
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
(Public Utility Easement 76 -18A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
The northerly three (3) feet of that certain public
utility easement described in deed recorded April 23,
1956 in Book 3484, pages 295 and 296, Official Records,
lying within Lot 28 of Tract No. 2492, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 89, pages 19, 20 and 21, Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of June, 1977, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of June 1977.
