1977-439A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS
AGREEhMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, THE
CITIES OF SANTA ANA, ANAHEIM, HUNTINGTON BEACH,
AND GARDEN GROVE RELATING TO THE-ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of February, 1974, the
City Council of the City of Anaheim, pursuant to Resolution
No. 74R -87 authorized the City of Anaheim to enter into a
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between the County of
Orange and the cities of Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, and
Garden Grove to create the Orange County Manpower Commission;
and
WHEREAS, said Orange County Manpower Commission
was established to assist the parties in the identification
of manpower needs, the establishment of priorities, and the
development and implementation of a comprehensive manpower
plan; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that said Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement between the parties be amended; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement has this day been submitted to the City of
Anaheim, the terms and conditions whereof are satisfactory
to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of the
Amendment of Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Orange
County Manpower Commission, this day submitted be, and the
same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said amendment
to agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
TIME FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAIIEII�I APPROVING COMPENSATION FOR EXTRA
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES PURSUANT TO AN AGREE
MENT WITH DAN L. ROWLAND AND ASSOCIATES
RELATING TO THE BROOKHURST PARK COMMUNITY
RECREATION BUILDING.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (hereinafter "City
and Dan L. Rowland and Associates (hereinafter "Architect
entered into an Agreement dated October 26, 1976, (herein-
after "Agreement for the preparation of plans and
specifications for the Modjeska Park Community Recreation
Building; and
WHEREAS, the City subsequently determined to
relocate said Building from Modjeska Park to Brookhurst Park;
and
WHEREAS, said relocation necessitated additional
architectural services not contemplated or provided for in
said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Paragraph V of said Agreement provides
that no extra services shall be rendered by Architect there-
under unless authorized in writing by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Paragraph V of the afore-
said Agreement that the City hereby authorizes extra
architectural services in the sum of $5,061.94 by Dan L.
Rowland and Associates in connection with the relocation of
the Community Recreation Building from Modjeska Park to
Brookhurst Park.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTTION'I is approved and signed by
