A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
(Public Utility Easement 76 -17A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the
Public Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et
seq. Government Code) in connection with the vacation and
abandonment of public service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to
abandon the following described public service easement
(hereinafter "Easement to wit:
That certain public utility easement located in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described in deed recorded July 29,
1975, in Book 1469, Page 1274 of Official
Records of said Orange County, California, to be
abandoned, described in said deed as follows:
A public utility easement for the installation
and maintenance of underground electrical conduit,
slab box, pad mount transformer and associated
equipment, as shown on a map attached hereto and
made a part hereof, under and across a strip of
land 5 feet wide, unless otherwise indicated on
said map, lying within Parcel 1, as shown on a
map filed in Book 69, pages 47 and 48 of Parcel
Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June, 1977, a
public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit
evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find from the evidence submitted to it, that said
Easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a
certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her

under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 7th day of June, 1977.
