1977-419RESOLUTION NO. 77R -419 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT. (Public Utility Easement 76 -16A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public service easements; and WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the following described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement to wit: That portion of existing public utility easements located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in deeds recorded in Book 3860, page 12, and in Book 1914, pages 9 and 10, Official Records, to be abandoned, described as follows: Parcel One: A strip of land 6 feet in width lying within the South 2 acres of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., the centerline of said strip is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of Euclid Avenue, as now established, distant 45 feet Northerly thereon from the South line of said South 2 acres; thence Northwesterly to a point which is 85 feet North, measured at right angles from said South line, and 110 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, from the centerline of said Euclid Avenue. Parcel Two: The South 6 feet of the South 2 acres of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 8, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M. Excepting therefrom the Westerly 50.44 feet thereof. WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June, 1977, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim -1- does find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment of said Easement. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
