1977-418RESOLUTION NO. 77R -418 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON MENT OF A PORTION OF EMILY STREET, BETWEEN LINCOLN AVENUE AND CHARTRES STREET. WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its intention to vacate and abandon a portion of Emily Street; and WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June, 1977, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find, from the evidence submitted, that that portion of Emily Street, hereinafter specifically described, is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City. Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment of that portion of Emily Street located generally between Lincoln Avenue and Chartres Street described as follows: That portion of Emily Street lying between Block "G" of the Subdivision of Vineyard Lot D -3, as shown on a map recorded in book 34, page 592 of Deeds, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, Cali- fornia and Block "F" of the Resubdivision of Vineyard Lot D -3, as shown on a map recorded in book 1, page 24 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, lying Northerly of the follow- ing described line: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 5 in Block "G" of said subdivision, said North- west corner of Lot 5 for the purpose this description being distant South 14° 29' 51" East 26.25 feet North 75 26' 03" East 26.50 feet from the centerline intersection of Chartres Street and Claudina Street (formerly Hermine Street) as shown on said map; thence North 75° 26' 03" East 240.12 feet along a line parallel with and 26.25 feet southerly of the centerline of said Chartres Street to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 in said Block -1- 76 -4A "G" of said subdivision; thence North 75° 26' 04" East 53.00 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and 26.50 feet easterly of the centerline of Emily Street 53.00 feet wide as shown on said map; thence South 14 29' 53" East 207.10 feet along the last mentioned parallel line to the true point of beginning of the line herein described; thence South 75° 27' 01" West 36.69 feet; thence South 14 29' 53" East 4.13 feet; thence South 75° 27' 01" West 16.31 feet to the East line of said Block "G AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
