A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH G. L. LEWIS
COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH REIMBURSEMENT OF
COSTS FOR SPECIAL WATER FACILITIES, AND AUTH-
ORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ON BE-
HALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. (Tract 8560)
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April, 1977, the City of
Anaheim entered into an Agreement providing, among other things,
that G. L. Lewis Company pay its share of prior advances for spec-
ial facilities to serve Tract 8560 pursuant to Rule No. 15 of the
City's Water Rates, Rules and Regulations and that the City would
attempt to collect from the ultimate users of said special facili-
ties, the fees necessary to reimburse G. L. Lewis Company, towards
the cost of such facilities; and
WHEREAS, at the request of G. L. Lewis Company, it is the
desire of the City of Anaheim and G. L. Lewis Company to amend said
Agreement to provide that the date for payment by G. L. Lewis Com-
pany, be extended; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to said Agreement has been prepared
to provide for such change of payment date; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said Amendment to
Agreement are acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and con-
ditions of said Amendment to Agreement are hereby approved and
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Amend-
ment to Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of June 1977.
