A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE NORTH ORANGE COUNTY
COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT RELATING TO A
LABOR MARKET ORIENTATION COMPONENT FOR THE
SUMMER PROGRAM FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED
YOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to provide
a Labor Market Orientation Component for the enrollees of
the Summer Program for Economically Disadvantaged Youth;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the
services of an agency with special knowledge and experience
in the field of Labor Market Orientation; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District is willing to furnish a site, such specialized
personnel and material as is required to provide Labor
Market Orientation; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Community College
District has submitted to the City a form of Agreement
providing for the furnishing of a site, specialized personnel
and material required to provide said Labor Market Orientation;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the proposed Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the North Orange County Community College District, and
that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the North Orange County Community College
District providing for furnishing of a site, specialized
personnel and material required to provide Labor Market
Orientation upon the terms and conditions and for the compensa-
tion set forth in said Agreement be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 31st day of m 1977.
