A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER COMMISSION RELATING TO MANPOWER
PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS
THERETO ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower Commission
has received a grant from the United States Department of
Labor, Employment and Training Administration under the
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, as
amended (P.L. 93- 203, 87 Stat. 839 and P.L. 93 567, 88
Stat. 1845, to provide a Summer Program for Economically
Disadvantaged Youth; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Manpower Commission
agrees to appropriate 3342,163.00 to the City of Anaheim
as Subgrantee for its use in conducting and operating such
programs, such funds to be paid to the City of Anaheim as
Subgrantee for reimbursement of costs; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared and
submitted to the City Council for review covering the
Summer Program for Economically Disadvantaged Youth for
the period May 1, 1977 through September 30, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to participate
in the above Program and agrees to the requirements for
operating such a Summer Youth Program and to give the
assurances that the City of Anaheim will comply with all
laws, regulations, and executive orders as more particularly
set forth in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authorize the City Manager of the City of Anaheim
to execute said Agreement and Modifications thereto on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim and the Orange County Manpower Commission
relating to a Summer Program for Economically Disadvantaged
Youth upon the terms and conditions set forth in said
Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ,Tanager of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to

execute said Agreement with the Orange County Manpower Com-
mission and modifications thereto for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 31st day of May 1977.
