1977-398RESOLUTION NO. 77R- 398 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO SELL CERTAIN CITY OWNED PROPERTY. (LEWCO) WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner in fee title of certain real property described as: That portion of the North half of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, pages 256 and 257 of patents, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the centerline intersection of Taft Avenue 40.00 feet wide, with the centerline of Wasser Road 40.00 feet wide, as said centerlines are described in the deed recorded in Book 852, page 82, Official Records of said County as shown on the map attached thereto; thence along the centerline of Wasser Road S 16 23' 44" W 113.01 feet; thence S 73 36' 44" E 20.00 feet to the easterly line of said Wasser Road to a point in a curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 150.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 41 11' 10" an arc distance of 107.33 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 44.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along the last mentioned reverse curve through a central angle of 47 12' 14" an arc distance of 36.25 feet to an intersection with the centerline of said Taft Avenue; thence along said centerline of Taft Avenue N 89 32' 37" W 70.47 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom, any portion thereof lying within said Taft Avenue and Nasser Road. (hereinafter "Property as further shown on a map designated Exhibit "A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, City has no present or prospective use for Property; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer to purchase Property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim does hereby accept the offer to purchase Property. -1- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed to Property on behalf of the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby authorized to execute such documents as may be required to complete the sale.
