A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT DATED JUNE 22,
1976, WITH POMEROY, JOHNSTON, AND BAILEY, INC.,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim entered into an
agreement dated June 22, 1976, with Pomeroy, Johnston and
Bailey, Inc. for services in connection with certain
tests and analyses of water samples and solids; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has expended the
sums authorized by said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to employ Pomeroy,
Johnston, and Bailey, Inc. for further testing of water
samples; and
WHEREAS, the City and Pomeroy, Johnston and
Bailey, Inc. desire to make certain changes to the said
agreement; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the said agreement has
been prepared whereby Pomeroy, Johnston and Bailey, Inc.
will provide such tests and analyses; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said
amendment to agreement are acceptable to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms
and conditions of said amendment to agreement are hereby
approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
amendment to agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 24th day of May 1977.
