RESOLUTION NO. 77R- 377
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT (C.L.D. NO.. 19031)
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND LOS ANGELES
SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY AND ITS LESSEE,
:UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, WITH REFER
ENCE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS, CURBS,
GUTTERS, AND PAVING IN ADELE STREET NEAR
ENGINEERING STATION 938 06.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to construct
sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and paving in Adele Street, near
Engineering Station 938 06, on the Union Pacific's Anaheim
Branch, Orange County; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Salt Lake Railroad Company
and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, have tendered
for execution of an agreement by which the City of Anaheim may
enter upon the said Railroad Company's property for the purpose
of the contemplated construction, subject to the covenants and
conditions contained in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for
the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said agreement and the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement, designated C.L.D. No.
19031, this day submitted to the City Council to be made and
entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and the Los
Angeles Salt Lake. Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union
Pacific Railroad Company, embodying the agreement for the City's
construction in Adele Street on the Railroad Company's property,
be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed py me
