WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anahei12, eoes
hereby elect to Proceed under the Street Vacation Act of 1941
(Section 8300 et seq., Streets and in connection
with the abandonment and vacation of public streets located within
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFOR:, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to abandon a
portion of Emily Street between Chartres Street and re. point aPpro:71-
matelv 175 feet north of the centerline of Lincoln Avenue in the
City of Anaheim as further shown on a map or plan on file in the
Office of the City Clerk.
13E IT FURTL72 RESOLVED that the 7th day of June, 1977,
at 300 o'clock P••, or as soon thereafter as the matter _lay be
heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 204 East Lincoln
Avenue, Anaheim, be the time and 1 7-lace for hearing evidence to be
offered by all persons interested in or objecting to said vacation
and abondonment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, Published and circulated in the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby, directed to post, or cause to be Posted, this resolution of
intention along the line of said Proposed vacation. Such notices
shall be Posted at least ten (10) days before the hearing date and
shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three
such notices shall be posteC.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of May, 1977.
