90-204 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-.204
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A
"REFERENCE PLUS" SERVICE FEE FOR
COMPLEX RESEARCH AND SERVICES AT THE
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim receives frequent
requests by patrons for Complex Research and Services including
the use of on-line databases requiring the assistance of the
Librarian, Library employees and other services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to establish a fee for such "Reference Plus" service
requests; and
WHEREAS, said fee will not exceed the costs reasonably
incurred by the City of Anaheim in providing such "Reference
Plus" services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a "REFERENCE PLUS" fee be charged
patrons of the Anaheim Public Library for complex research
requests and services. Said fee will be based on the actual
cost of providing the research or service, including but not
limited to labor, material, on-line database usage, overhead
and costs.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day
of June , 1990.
