A RESOLUTION OF T-E CITY COUNCIL OF TI-IL CITY
OF LXP?ESSI\IG ITS DESIRE TO EVALUATE
THE LOCATION OF FIFE STATIONS AAD TO ACQUIRE
CERTAIN FEDERAL FUNDS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to evaluate the
location of fire stations; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
of the United States Government has, under the Comprehensive Plan-
ning Assistance Program, earmarked a $14,000 grant for the purpose
of conducting such an evaluation; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
will make the $14,000 grant available to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
will make funds available based on two-thirds of project cost; and
WHEREAS, the required one-third local share of cost may
consist of in-kind services; and
WHEREAS, the evaluation of fire station locations is
beneficial to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THERLFORE, EL IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby express its aesire and willingness
to conduct the Fire Station Location Evaluation Project.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim does hereby indicate its desire to Procure the $14,000
grant for the conduct of the Fire Station Location Project.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of April 1977.
