A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DELETING CERTAIN ADVISORY
BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS FROM RESOLUTION NOS.
76R -469, 76R -552, AND 76R-812 REQUIRING
SAID BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO ADOPT A
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Political Reform Act of 1974,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim is required to establish
and designate boards, commissions, and departments or agencies
which are required to adopt a conflict of interest code in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of August, 1976, pursuant to
Resolution No. 76R -469, the City Council did adopt a resolution
requiring all boards and commissions of the City of Anaheim to
adopt a conflict of interest code; and
WHEREAS, said Political Reform Act of 1974, does not
require boards and commissions with solely recommending authority
and no discretionary power to adopt a conflict of interest code;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to amend Resolution Nos. 76R -469,
76R -552, and 76R -812 by deleting certain advisory boards and
commissions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby amend Resolution Nos.
76R -469, 76R -552, and 76R-812 by deleting therefrom the following
boards and commissions and further deleting the requirement that
said boards and commissions adopt a conflict of interest code:
Housing Commission
Golf Course Commission
Cultural Arts Commission
Park and Recreation Commission
Community Services Board
Public Utilities Board
Library Board
