1977-614WHEREAS, on the 19th day of July, 1977, the City
of Anaheim entered into Agreement No. 07 -5055, including
Supplement No. 1 thereto, with the State of California,
Department of Transportation relating to the use of Federal
funds for certain improvements or restoration of roads,
streets, highways, fringe parking, and transportation
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute Supplement
No. 2 to said agreement to enable the City of Anaheim to
obtain funds necessary to install automatic gates to replace
existing No. 8 signals on Broadway at Southern Pacific
Transportation Company Railroad Grade Crossing No. BK- 509.1;
and
WHEREAS, Supplement No. 2 to said agreement has
been prepared, the terms and conditons of which are
satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Supplement No. 2 are hereby approved and
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 13th day of September 1977.
