A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO MOVE SIX
(6) SINGLE FAMILY STRUCTURES IN REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT ALPHA IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, a written application has been filed with the
City of Anaheim for a Special Permit to move six (6) single-
family residential structures:

1) 501 E. Chartres St. 320 E. Cypress St.
2) 403 E. Center St. 308 E. Cypress St.
3) 218 N. Olive St. 280 N. Philadelphia St.
4) 415 E. Chartres St. 240 N. Philadelphia St.
5) 601 E. Chartres St. 200 N. Philadelphia St.
6) 411 E. Chartres St. 217 N. Emily St.
Anaheim, California.
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public hearing
on the 22nd day of May 1990, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M.,
and notice of the time and place fixed for said public hearing
having been given by mail to all persons residing within a radius
of three hundred (300) feet from the property upon which it is
proposed to move said structures at least ten (10) days prior to
the date fixed for said hearing, as the names of such owners
appeared upon the last available tax assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly for hearing
upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and
conducted and all persons interested therein given an opportunity
to be heard, and the City Council having duly considered said
application for a Special Permit, together with all evidence and
reports submitted in connection therewith, does find that said
permit should be granted for the following reasons:
1. That the houses proposed to be moved are comparable in
value, size, quality, design and appearance, to houses in the
area into which they are to be moved; and
2. That they will not be detrimental to nor diminish the
value of property in the area; and
3. That said structures will conform to the provisions of
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code applicable to the property
upon which they will be located.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the
City of Anaheim that the application for a Special Permit to move
six (6) single-family residential structures as hereinabove
described in Redevelopment Project Alpha, Anaheim, California,
be, and the same is hereby granted subject to compliance with all
of the provisions of Titles 15 and 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of May, 1990.
