1977-555A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXE-
CUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
property located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California; and
WHEREAS, the Regents of the University of California
desire to lease said property owned by the City of Anaheim for
the purpose of conducting a medical clinic to be operated by the
University of California, Irvine; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim does not have a present
need for this property, and its use as a medical clinic would be
beneficial to the City; and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a lease agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and the Regents of the University
of California for establishment of a medical clinic on property
more particularly described in said lease agreement be, and the
same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of August 1977.
