A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITIES OF ANAHEIM,
COSTA MESA, FULLERTON, GARDEN GROVE AND
SANTA ANA AND THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MUNICIPAL
DEVELOPMENT, INC., PERTAINING TO THE EMPLOYMENT
OF A WASHINGTON REPRESENTATIVE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREE
MENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa,
Fullerton, Garden Grove and Santa Ana have heretofore,
pursuant to an agreement between them, agreed to employ and
share the expense of a Washington Representative to provide
said Cities with representation before Congress and other
Federal agencies; and
WHEREAS, the National Center for Municipal
Development, Inc., has agreed to assign a member of its
staff as a Washington Representative to represent said
Cities; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa,
Fullerton, Garden Grove and Santa Ana agree that a Washing-
ton Representative should be employed for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement between the Cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Fuller-
ton, Garden Grove and Santa Ana and the National Center for
Municipal Development, Inc., pertaining to the employment of
a Washington Representative be, and the same are hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of March 1977.
