A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE 2la TO Ti E
CITY OF ANAHEIM OF TIIE TERRITORY KNOWN
DESIGNATED ANAHEIM HILLS NO. 18 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission author-
ized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory without notice
and hearing and without an election pursuant to the authority
vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is un-
inhabited territory. That said consent contained a description
of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to anorove said annexation by resolution without notice
and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Government Code.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by Resolution No. 77R-100 adopted on February 15, 1977, disapprove
the annexation of said territory; and
WHEREAS, a reauest for rehearing was received and a re-
hearing was granted and said rehearing was helC on :larch 15, 1977.

IT R that the City Council of
NOW, THEREFORE,
the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory pro-
posed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in the
County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous to the
City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That said consent
signed by all of the owners of land within the territory proposed
to be annexed contained a description of said territory in words
and figures as hereinafter in this resolution described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the 27th day of October, 1976, the Local Agency
Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution No. 76-171 in which
said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said
territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and further approved such annexation of said territory with-
out notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further by
resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim to
annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City Council
and without the requirement that an election be held by the City
on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the ANAHEIM HILLS NO.
18 ANNEXATION, more particularly described as follows, to wit:
That certain parcel of land located in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim as established
in the Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexation to said City,
said point of beginning being in the westerly ter-
minus of the course described as West 1,410.00 feet
in said Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexation; thence fol-
lowing along a portion of the annexation boundary
line established in the last mentioned annexation,
the following courses and distances: N 27° 50' 00"
W, 1,060.00 feet; S 65° 30' 00" W, 1,830 feet, more
or less; S 89° 00' 00" W, 400 feet, more or less,
to the southeasterly corner of the Anaheim Hills No.
7 Annexation boundary line; thence leaving the afore-
mentioned Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexation boundary
line and following along the southerly line of said
Anaheim Hills No. 7 Annexation S 89° 00' 00" W, 576
feet, more or less, to the southwest corner of said
Anaheim Hills No. 7 Annexation boundary, said south-
west corner also being the most southeast corner of
the Anaheim Hills No. 3 Annexation to the City of
Anaheim; thence leaving said Anaheim Hills No. 7
Annexation boundary line and following along a por-
tion of the southerly annexation boundary line of
said Anaheim Hills No. 3, the following courses and
distances: S 89° 00' 00" W, 1,784 feet, more or
less; South 530 feet; West 310.00 feet to the north-
east corner of the Anaheim Hills No. 17 Annexation
boundary to the City of Anaheim; thence leaving said.
Anaheim Hills No. 3 Annexation boundary line and
following along a portion of the Anaheim Hills No.
17 Annexation boundary line, the following courses
and distances: S 0° 25' 00" W, 400 feet; West 500.00
feet to the southwest corner of said Anaheim Hills
No. 17 Annexation boundary, said southwest corner
also being a point in the easterly annexation bound-
ary line of the Yorba Annexation to the City of
Anaheim; thence leaving said Anaheim Hills No. 17
Annexation boundary line and following along a por-
tion of said Yorba Annexation boundary line S 0° 41'
14" W, 15 feet; thence leaving said Yorba Annexation
boundary line S 39 49 00" E, 755 feet; thence East
540.00 feet; thence N 72° 45' 00" E, 1383.00 feet;
thence N 37 27' 20" E, 691.34 feet; thence North
590.00 feet; thence N 89° 00' 00" E, 572.00 feet;
thence S 0° 33' 46" E, 1341 feet, more or less, to
an angle point in the northwesterly line of Parcel
1 of the Right-of-Way Easement to Southern California
Edison Company as described in deed recorded December
23, 1968 in Book 8224, page 19, Official Records,
said point being the southwesterly terminus of the
course described therein as "N 69° 05' 26" E, 1209.96
feet"; thence along said northwesterly line N 69° 05'
26" E, 1209.96 feet and N 72° 24' 32" E, 2587 feet,
more or less, to an intersection with the aforemen-
tioned Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexation boundary line
of the City of Anaheim as established by said Anaheim
Hills No. 6 Annexation, said point of intersection
being distant East 1112.12 feet from the point of
beginning; thence West 1112.12 feet along a portion
of the last mentioned Anaheim Hills No. 6 Annexation
boundary line to the point of beginning.
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and is hereby designated as the ANAHEIM HILLS NO.
18 ANNEXATION to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of Califor-
nia, the annexation of the territory herein described shall be
deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such annexed
territory shall be, to all intents and purnoses, a part of the
City of Anaheim, and from and after the effective date of such
annexation, all property therein shall be subject to taxation
equally with the property within the CitN7 of Anaheim and shall be
taxed to pay its proportionate share of the existing indebtedness
and liability of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or ex-
isting at the time of such annexation pursuant to the written
consent of the owners of property in said annexed territory filed
with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of
this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 77R-100 be,
and it is hereby, rescinded and of no further force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
